Unable to stay at the hotel/suite as it is next door to a club which plays loud music playing until 3am. Hotel booked for our honeymoon. Had to check out a day early as could not sleep, and slept in the kitchen on the floor the only night we stayed. Hotel agreed to provide a refund which we are still waiting for. Management sent rather aggressive messages to myself and my husband, so slightly sceptical on the refund.

Phillipo went out of his way to help my husband and I (Seniors) when I had accidentally cancelled our accommodation with him by finding us alternate accommodation for part of our stay and even loaning me cash for a bus ticket when we had trouble with cards. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Phillipo. L Baker South Australia

The view from our small balcony with chair and table was wonderful. The location was ideal for getting around on the ferry and for spending evenings in Menaggio, although there aren't many restaurants in town. The charm was there. The bedroom has shutters and curtains. The rooms of “the dependence” are part of the hotel du lac located 20m below, everything is explained in front of the gate. The hotel has parking.
