Villa Flori Hotel

I have been frequenting Hotel Villa Flori for a long time and it is the place where I have always celebrated a special occasion for me. Although the location on the lake remains exceptional, during our last dinner the experience was decidedly disappointing due to several lapses in service and communication. At the time of booking the table, I was not informed that we would be eating outdoors. Although the evening was nice at the beginning, the temperatures dropped to 18 degrees and, not having been warned, I was not wearing appropriate clothing to be outside. Due to the humidity and cool air, the dishes also suffered: I ordered pasta and it became cold in just 5 minutes. To make matters worse, the service was extremely slow: the excessive wait between one course and the next, combined with the cold, forced me to give up dessert just so I could leave. Furthermore, no one had informed us of the presence of live music. I would have preferred to know so I could ask for a table further away: the volume was so loud that it was impossible to even converse. To conclude, I find it completely unjustified to charge 5 euros for a simple coffee. I hope the restaurant finds again the attention to the customer that has always distinguished it.

Along the pedestrian street that runs along the lake from Como to Cernobbio, past the main entrance, there is a small gray door, open, with a wonderful mosaic on the ground that leads to the Lounge Bar of the hotel. Here awaits Giovanna , courteous, attentive and caring, who welcomes you to this magical place. Inside a small and well-kept bar with a wide choice from breakfast to aperitif and after dinner. A beautiful terrace with an enchanting view suspended over the lake will make you stay ecstatic. To return!!!

What an experience!! This hotel is classy, accommodating and right on Lake Como. It sits between Cenobbio and Como - two great and scenic towns to visit. Everything about this hotel is top notch. The staff is excellent
