Hotel chosen for its proximity to Cremona, where a performance awaited us on Saturday evening as part of the Monteverdi Festival. The random choice turned out to be excellent: appropriate price, comfortable and clean rooms, silence, and air conditioning that allowed us to have a very good night despite the 38 degrees outside. Absolute kindness and availability from both the lady at the reception and the lady in charge of breakfasts. Breakfast, both sweet and savory, is varied and abundant. Not having time, we did not have the opportunity to try the pool, another interesting aspect. In short, highly recommended.

If you want to rest DO NOT choose this hotel. Graduation party on the first floor, we on the second floor couldn't even hear the TV. We called three times, at one point there was even noise in the corridors, strong smell of smoke. At 12.20 the reception manager tells me that they are turning off the music (!!) Then again noises, external noises for which the lady says she is not responsible, even if the police say that the responsibility lies with the managers throughout the entire property of the hotel. hotel. We grabbed our bags and headed home so we could rest. They didn't charge us for the crazy night, but why can't we have respect for rest especially in a hotel?

This hotel is only in use during events at the Cremona Fair, I believe. At least it smelled that way. Not very good this one. Big reception, but no bar service, the airconditioning is turned off by October 1st. I was there end of September, quite hot, and still ut was turned off... The rooms were small and worn. There's a pond next to the hotel with standing water which smelled badly. The upside is that the prices were low and that it's only 12 km to Cremona. Breakfast was nice and of course Italian coffee! That makes up for almost anything!
