Look is it the ritz? No of course not, but if you expect that with the price then that’s on you. I was a female travelling alone on a budget, and wanted somewhere safe to stay to explore the lake. Was it luxury? No, but I felt very safe at all times and had a comfortable stay. Unlike other reviews, I had a fan in the room, the room was clean and nice clean bedding. Yes, it was outdated but I wasn’t fussed about that. Door locked fine. The receptionists were very nice and helpful, and the 24/7 service made me feel safe. Location is brilliant. Would I come here if I had children with me? Or my elderly parents? Probably not. But if you’re a lone traveller on a budget looking for a single occupancy room instead of having to stay in a hostel: go for it. A few little easy things to change would be: kettle and coffee in rooms or if not in room then even a wee station in the reception where people can help themselves. A water dispenser in the lobby would be very handy too.

Hotel with shabby rooms, very uncomfortable bathrooms with showers without curtains, and the inability to use a bidet; poor reception, and the cost was too high and disappointing.

I don't know where to start, because every corner of this structure screams abandonment and total neglect. Dilapidated room, peeling and moldy walls, emergency orthopedic mattress, bathroom without shower tray, as if for some brilliant "optimization" that would make you laugh if it didn't make you cry. The smell of musty and old hits you as soon as you enter, and the cleanliness is simply non-existent. Not a kind word you can spend: zero. Published as a star structure, it should be called more honestly to stables. Hygiene and safety regulations seem like alien concepts in here. I wonder - and I ask this out loud - how it is that the local health authorities have not yet put the seals on this place. Where's the NAS? Where is Federalberghi Brescia? Where's everyone in charge of protecting the traveller and the payer? Because yes: they charge you upfront, probably just to prevent you from wanting to run away with your wallet out, given the horror. A trick that says a lot about the honesty of the management of this place. This structure should not exist. It should be closed, reclaimed, and returned to decency. Highly discouraged to anyone, under any circumstances. Sleeping in the car would be a much more dignified alternative.
