We booked through Booking.com at this property for Ferragosto and, up until that moment, everything had gone well. We went to the property for check-in, after having notified them by phone of our arrival scheduled for 5:00 PM. Upon our arrival, we were given a completely dirty and uncleaned room: unmade bed, trash and food residue everywhere and, in the bathroom, wet towels left on the floor. An absolutely unacceptable situation. Obviously we went to complain and an arrogant character at the reception replied verbatim: "These things happen." We travel often and something like this had never happened to us. We were then offered another room, this time with a lake view. We enter and, even worse, we discover that there was no electricity. We return to the reception again and the same employee arrives, with a listless and annoyed air, who proceeds to restore the electricity. Raising the shutters, we then found a dirty pot on the windowsill, full of dry soil, with the plants completely dead. Furthermore, the bathtub was dirty and had mold on the drain. We pointed out the situation again and, instead of apologizing or trying to solve the problem, the employee replied in a loud and aggressive tone that, if we wanted, we could call the police. Something simply absurd and unacceptable for an accommodation facility. At that point, we asked for a refund and communicated that we would be leaving. We were told, still in an arrogant tone and shouting, that a refund was impossible because we had paid through Booking.com. In the end, we were forced to return home, without being able to use the stay that we had regularly booked and paid for. It was undoubtedly the worst experience we have ever had during a stay. We expected at least an apology and a minimum of professionalism, but we found only filth, neglect, and an extremely rude and unprofessional attitude. We also believe that Booking.com should carry out more accurate checks on the properties it offers, especially regarding cleaning and hygiene standards. A property that presents rooms in these conditions would deserve, in our opinion, much more thorough checks.

The mattress was hard and yellowish, and the pillows were like thin slices; the bathtub had yellow stains and mold on the drain, highlighting a complete lack of hygiene, which we pointed out but were met with rudeness (a health inspection is needed here). The lake view was very vague because there is no balcony, and the only window is very small, resulting in a dark room. On the windowsill, there was a pot with dead plants and dry soil; we closed the window for fear that the wind would blow the dirt inside. You cannot call the gentleman at the reception a gentleman; arrogance reigns in this establishment. If you have a problem and point it out to them, they basically reply, "if you don't like it, that's your problem." We had breakfast included, but we didn't have the courage to try it; we preferred to have it at a bar because, given how this establishment presents itself, I really don't think the food is fresh every morning. All in all, an experience to forget; it was more comfortable sleeping in the car.
