Hotel Il Loggiato Dei Serviti Our room was what we were expecting for a budget hotel, it was clean, serviced every day, towels replaced, toiletries refilled & changed, bed was comfortable & there was a safe in the room. Breakfast was available from 7am - 10.30am, there was plenty of variety including fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheese & cold meat selections, boiled eggs, rolls, bread for toast, croissants & various other items typical of a continental breakfast, as well as a variety of coffee & tea. Very convenient location, It was about 5mins walk from the train/bus station & 10 mins walk to Old town & lake. Francesco the owner was a very friendly, helpfull host.

From the worst I have seen in hotel, malfunctions in the refrigerator, we rotted what we put, regular heating, dryer with minimal power , three hangers for 2 people a chair for Two people , scarce hygiene material as controlling the expense , Two small soaps and Two cases of shampoo, unpleasant smell in the rooms but the worst was that at 2130 on October 27, 2025 when I opened a bed I found a blood stain on the sheet, when I approached the owner and commented she became almost like a beast telling me that I had to talk to him in Italian or English and when doing so in the latter I did not understand anything, I was scared of his manners even thought to denounce it, in the end that man did not affect our passage by how, eye with the cheap and photos showing breakfast lousy little fruit and in bad shape example pineapple coffee machine all regular.

My experience with this hotel has been really disappointing. Due to an error in the Booking application our booking was registered for 6-7 October 2026, when in fact we were there in 2025. Upon arrival at the hotel we were informed of the error and, of course, requested the cancellation of the reservation, as it was pointless to keep a room for another year. However, the owner refused to cancel it, which seemed to me to be a total sign of lack of empathy. Also, the hotel is located in a very narrow alley, where it is impossible to park, I think for the price there are better offers in the area. In short, a very negative experience. And if anyone is interested, I have a reservation for October 6-7, 2026 that could yield half price.
