Nautilus Hotel-Motel

We returned to this beautiful place that we love. The Nautilus hotel resort is a small paradise of relaxation on Lake Como. The lake and the mountains in front take your breath away, the green park and the beach provide maximum relaxation and a sense of peace, very private and there are no crowds. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and comfortable room, room service and beach service.

Be careful, only the room with a view of the lake is interesting! The weekend stay could have been acceptable if at the time of departure the owner, claiming to have no agreement with Hotels.com, insisted on making us pay for the room even though we had already paid through Hotels.com!!! But he does not want to hear anything... I show him the email and the reservation with the payment made, but he is not convinced, so a long exchange of negotiations continues, and ultimately he wants us to pay an extra charge for the room even though we received exactly the one shown in the photos on the site at the price we paid, and the charge for the electric car which he never informed us of the rate, for a hybrid an additional charge of €126!!! He never provided us with an invoice even though we requested it... After the exchanges with Hotels.com, he changed his mind and offered us a refund of €70, which we are still waiting for after one month... he is a scammer, and that is all. The view is magnificent; that is all that is positive. Otherwise, you have bedbugs every day in the room, the bathroom heating does not work, and the shower is so cramped that the curtain sticks to your skin, which is very unpleasant. Regarding breakfast, nothing is fresh, and it is all industrial with the minimum offered, bar and restaurant closed! We are very disappointed with our weekend at this hotel!

We had a great time in this hotel. Already dry time. Beautiful place, unique, relaxing atmosphere. Historic place, has its own style and soul. The dream beach with few people and plenty of space. The room renovated and very cozy, clean, balcony comes out directly to the lake. Good breakfast. Beach service, to have small picnic! Thanks to the Nautilus staff, always kind and helpful.
