Hotel Le Palme

This was me and my fiancée’s 2nd time in Limone and we really wanted to stay near the water and in the main area. This hotel is partnered with Splendid Hotel, just a little ways up from Hotel Le Palme. We parked our rental car at Hotel Splendid (a bit tight but that’s expected in this area), checked in with the staff there, and were taken via golf cart to Hotel Le Palme. This was interesting as it was on the walk way people use but it worked out! The hotel location is central and everything is within walking distance. The room we had was on the 1st floor, and we had a lovely lake view with a small balcony. The room was clean, a bit dated in decor, and the bathroom was a good size (no bidet). Our balcony also was right beside the other room, so there was limited privacy if we were both sitting outside. Would recommend a partition of some sort for more privacy. It is also right beside the ferry pick up location, so there were many, many ferries passing by and stopping throughout the day, and many people had direct view of the balcony and into the room. The breakfast was great, a lot of selection - meats, cheese, and eggs, smoked salmon, bread, pastries, fresh fruit and veggies, and good coffee and juice. It wasn’t very busy in the mornings and sitting on the patio outside with a view of the lake each morning was lovely. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, even though we were given a 10% discount. The decor from the restaurant could be updated to be more inviting and improve the aesthetic, but that’s my personal opinion. The access to both pools were the highlight of our stay. The pools are refreshing and clean, and had amazing views. Hotel Splendid has a great outdoor seating area with even better views. We listened to live music one night and it was so much fun. Drinks are priced fairly, which was €7 for an Aperol Spritz. Overall, amazing stay and definitely worth the price. Would recommend and stay again.

Absolutely rubbish customer service. Waited 20 minutes for bill. No staff approached table. At least four families walked out fed up waiting to order.

Amazing hotel situated directly on the side of the lake. The staff were all a delight, so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, so much choice and a stunning view from the breakfast room of beautiful lake Garda. We parked our car at the sister hotel and were dropped off in the golf buggy and the same back when we left. The swimming pool is 5 minutes away but is an absolute must, a quiet and beautiful oasis. We will be back.
