We had a small but comfortable split level apartment (bedroom & bathroom upstairs, kitchenette & living room downstairs) in a typical Mantuan house. The owner gave us vouchers which allowed us unlimited parking in a nearby piazza & the apartment was in a fantastic location just a few hundred metres from the city centre. Service was a little haphazard - our room was serviced after the first night but not after the second. The WiFi didn't work at all during the 3 nights of our stay. Breakfast was just coffee & pastries in the family owned Osteria Libenter a few minutes walk away.
