Residence in Centro

Disappointment! we chose the hotel after seeing the photographs of the rooms. Unfortunately the photos are out of date, probably taken too long ago by a good photographer. our room is sparsely furnished, very shabby and poorly maintained, part of the floor is broken. In the bathroom all the accessories have obvious signs of rust. Not soundproof. You can hear all the "noises" of the neighbors. It would take a few paintings, a comfortable and functional clean sofa a more careful cleaning to make the rooms more in line with the price. The two stars to thank the staff, very friendly and professional and for the good location 10 minutes walk from the city center

Stayed for 2 nights. Very dark room with a mix of antique and 70's style furniture. Mouldy shower head and tiles There is also a 15 euro charge per day to park your car, on top of 120+ euros per night. There is a beautiful garden but no seating so not to sit in. Arrival times are restricted to day and early evening so bear this in mind if you arrive late. Such a shame that this beautiful old building isn't bought up to date as it could be stunning with a furniture and bathroom facelift. On the plus side it's a good location to walk into the centre of town in 10 minutes.

Spent three nights here - it's in a quiet location about ten minutes walk from the centre with easy on site parking. The place is made up of a number of large self catering apartments around a courtyard garden. Very old building, slightly worn but in a way that gives it plenty of charm and character, but very clean where it matters - bed, shower etc. Good a/c, dead quiet at night, overall a great place to stay if you want to avoid the generic 'Eurotel' type of place.
