Older hotel, very close to the train station, good size carpeted room and bath/shower combo. Nice reception staff and very kind housekeeping staff. Great breakfast with lots of choice

Three women went on a trip to Italy. On the 5th day of the trip we went to Milan and stayed at the Hotel Auliga. The room was very beautiful and cute. But the staff were the worst at it. When I came back, there was no greeting, no room description. Also, when we were in the room, strangers came in without knocking, even though it wasn't cleaning time, and we turned around and closed the door without saying anything. It was a man. I got scared and went to reception with my sister. I explained the whole thing and told them the characteristics of the people who came in and they said I was a manager. Nothing more happened and I went back to my room. Then I went to the Duomo, and when I came back to the hotel, I found the door to my room was empty, even though I had locked it. I felt a sense of crisis from my first experience, and since valuables and other items were taken out, there was no damage. When I went to the receptionist and told them what had happened, they said they didn't know because I had just arrived, so they didn't respond, and as long as nothing had been taken, I was fine. There were no chains, and the portable door locks we had prepared beforehand were not usable molds, so we were too scared to sleep at night and stayed in a different hotel the next day. The staff made light work of it without saying sorry. The customer in front of me was also fighting. It was good except for the security and staff response, but I don't recommend staying overnight.

4-star hotel of the good times that were, you save only all the staff from reception to breakfast room friendly, considerate and ready to meet every request and solve inconveniences are at the top, see (on your own initiative) change room. For the rest it's all to be redone, old-fashioned and I would say tacky the room was furnished with carpet and furniture from years ago, all old and surpassed .. for the previous room the bathroom, a loculus, was small without space and with a shameful shower. The toilet? Difficult to sit and not bang your knees to the wall you face. The new larger room, because double, satisfying and above all large both the room and the bathroom. Breakfast medium low quality, poor variety.. It also needs renovation because the area is full of new hotels. Strategic point. Still great on staff.
