Canova

A place to avoid. By mistake, they took the reservation for the next day. There was no way to get a refund. Milanese rigidity. One understands how things work at certain latitudes. To be avoided. Poor management.

Hotel is ideally located about a 10 minute walk from Milan Central Station. Hotel is a typical 3 star hotel with a small lobby. Clean, modern but with some ornate touches, and located near transportation. Many other 3 star choices on the same block, but I chose Hotel Canova because of the rave reviews for their breakfast. Breakfast was very god indeed. Served in a small modern area in the back of hotel with a helpful staff, many choices, and everything fresh. One of the better included breakfasts during my 2 weeks in Italy (we stayed at 4 star hotels during rest of trip and this breakfast was better!)

Hotel Canova – Milan Well located, next to Milano Centrale station. Simple and small rooms, but clean. Good cost-benefit for those who will just sleep. ⭐ Note: 7/10
