I stayed at this hotel for work and couldn’t wait to leave. If you are looking for rest, stay away from the Demò Hotel. Despite having warned the reception that I would be back late for professional commitments, my night was hell. Soundproofing is totally absent: the walls look like paper. You can hear literally everything: from the keys turning in the locks of the other rooms, to every single toilet flush, tap or neighbor's water utility. The noises are so loud that they are unpleasant and invasive. As if that wasn’t enough, the hotel allows other guests to return late at night making a fuss without any recall, and in the morning at 7:00 sharp the cleaning staff started working in the corridors with an unbearable noise, completely ignoring my need to sleep. The most unacceptable thing was the inaction of the staff: I called the reception twice at 7:00 in the morning to complain about both the noise of the cleaning and the annoying shouts in the room next to mine. Result? An unnecessary "I'm sorry" and no concrete intervention. They kept making noise as if nothing had happened. Add in a tourist tax of over 7 euros (crazy for a poor 3 star that deserves two) and you have the whole picture. A badly run hotel, old and where the customer is not respected in the least. Never again.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and it was a complete disaster. If you value your sleep or professional needs, stay away from Hotel Demò. Despite informing the reception that I would be returning late from work, my night was ruined by a total lack of soundproofing. The walls are paper-thin: you can literally hear everything from the hallway, including the sound of keys turning in locks. Worse still, the plumbing is incredibly loud; every time a neighbor flushes the toilet or turns on a tap, it sounds like it’s inside your own room. The management is clearly non-existent when it comes to guest comfort. People were allowed to return late at night making as much noise as they wanted without any intervention. Then, at 7:00 AM sharp, the cleaning staff started slamming doors and shouting in the hallways, completely ignoring my request for a quiet morning. I called the reception twice at 7:00 AM to complain about the cleaning noise and the disruptive neighbors next door. The staff did absolutely nothing. All I got was a generic "I’m sorry" while the noise continued unabated. To top it off, you are charged a city tax of over 7 Euros per night for a sub-par 3-star hotel that barely deserves a 2-star rating. This place is outdated, poorly managed, and shows zero respect for paying guests. Never again.
