Do not stay here. They stole my dress out of my bag. This is the main reason I reccomend not staying here. All the other reasons are less important than having your belongings stolen. The room was also stuffy and it was not walking distance to any town.

I have just returned from Milan and stayed 4 nights at Etrusco. It was terrible. My first room was on the second room and it was very very small and very noisy. So, I changed my room and the room which was at the top floor was again very noisy because of the air conditioner and was very hot. The air conditioner was not working properly. The staff was rude. The breakfast was not satisfactory very bad. I will never stay at the hotel again. They charged 10 Euros for the internet although they said it was free...Never and never stay at this hotel.

My friend and I just returned from our weekend in Milan having booked our accommodation for 3 nights with Venere.com after much research on the internet. The website suggested that rooms come with terrace and the pictures make the rooms and hotel look very good. When we arrived we were given a room that was literally in the basement of the hotel!!! Needless to say there was barely even a window let alone a terrace! You could not open the tiny barred window as it came out at pavement level onto the main street (Via Porpora). We came back up to tell the receptionist we were not happy with the room. He said that the hotel was full and we would have to at least stay in that room that night and he would check if he could move us the next morning but made it sound like it would be a very big deal. Having no choice we returned to the room. The room itself was clean but very small and basic. The airconditioning was not working so it was very hot (it was a hot weekend in Milan approx 30 degrees!) and stale in the room. The bathroom was clean but there was a very strange metal gated ceiling that made you feel like you were an inmate. Very surreal. The nighttime receptionist was far more helpful and very sympathetic syaing that we did not get our money's worth as the rooms above ours were all much nicer. We had a terrible night's sleep with the street noise, a leaking pipe somewhere in the hotel and neighbours talking (very thin walls apparently). Lucky for us our friends who were also staying in Milan that weekend offered us a room in their 2 bedroom apartment that evening so we checked out the next morning and moved to their apartment for the remainder of our stay in Milan. We did manage to have breakfast before checking out which was below basic and terrible. I never knew coffee could taste bad in Italy! If you really want to stay here you need to check with the hotel first what room you are getting. Rooms 100-107 are all in the "basement". In terms of location, it is not central but it is pretty easy to get around Milan and the hotel is approximately 20 mins by metro (and a 10 min walk to the metro) from Il Duomo and the centre of Milan.
