Hotel Nuovo Marghera

Clean, comfortable, good value hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a homely feel but with many of the extras that you expect from a luxury hotel. Location is perfect - across the road from the metro and with lots of excellent restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.

This hotel is few meters of walk from Wagner station in the red metro line 1. Duomo (city center and cathedral), Cadorna (main train station), Corgusio stations are in the same metro line and takes only few minutes from Wagner stations. Coming or going to Malpensa airport is easy by taking a 13euro ticket and boarding the train from Cadorna rail station. A good pizza restaurant is just down the lane in the same street. There are about 25 good restaurants around the hotel. Architecture of the building is quite soothing for the eyes. The hotel is clean and tidy. The washroom is spacious enough. Tight showering place. View of the low buzzing street and sound of underground metro in between is surprising. Good wifi connection and I was streaming the live FIFA worldcup quarterfinal match between Russia and Croatia. Breakfast served is continental. Water dispenser is a bit tricky to use. Both the staff were friendly. One of the staff's grandparents are from Varrena, the town in the north I visited for a week before Milan. :)

Stayed in Hotel Nuovo Marghera earlier this year and the service was fantastic. In a lovely spot (right near the metro) and the room was great. Breakfast was lovely too! Would defiantly recommend to everyone!
