Idea Milano Corso Genova

No complaints other than no place to hang your clothes in room, other than that fantastic hotel and great area downstairs with football table and tvs. Just out of center so not expensive area either. Also friendly staff and helpful

This hotel was perfect for a couple of days in Milan. The room was small but it had everything we needed. The hotel was modern, clean and tidy. It was perfectly located. Bit of a walk to city centre and plenty or cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. I would recommend using the Milan metro, really cheap and easy to use, there’s a station a ten minute walk from the hotel.

Great location with easy access to the canals and to the centre. It's in a quiet neighbourhood with several nice bars and restaurants within a very short walking distance. Inside the hotel you are greeted with a modern looking interior with lots of TVs, a console and a pinball machine to keep you entertained. There is a hotel bar which is pretty much just an extension of reception. It is pretty cheap compared to most of Milan! A beer was about 4 Euro. Checking in was fine, the staff were very pleasant and sorted us out quite quickly. We had rooms on the fourth floor. They were a bit on the small side to say the least. The bed took up the entire width of the room when you included the odd cushion things down both sides. No bedside tables. There was a tiny shelf with a safe on it and a tiny desk which was supposed to have a phone on but appeared to have gone missing. There were no drawers or any other kind of storage except for a short rail on the wall to hang some items up. If you are there for more than a day you need more storage. The bathroom was nice; clean with all you would expect and a good shower. No fridge but it did have aircon. We asked for an iron three times and each time they said they were not sure where it was and would try to find it. Having only one iron for the entire hotel seemed a bit odd! Other than that, it was fine. I don't think I would go back but, conversely, it wouldn't be a concern if I ended up there again.
