Had a lovely time at the Lancaster while in Milan. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel location is great with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend.

1. The photos are completely misleading. The rooms I saw looked nothing like the polished images online. The furniture was worn, the cleanliness was poor, and the overall condition was shabby. This is false advertising, plain and simple. 2. After experiencing the rude, dismissive, and at times discriminatory treatment from the staff, especially toward me as a Chinese guest I cannot believe any genuine traveler would leave a positive review. The owner even made racism comments towards Chinese. 3. The staff were impolite and unwelcoming. From check-in to checkout, I was treated with coldness and condescension. When I tried to address my concerns, the manager showed zero interest in resolving anything. They seemed to care only about collecting money, not about guest satisfaction. 4. The toilet is an absolute joke. It is so incredibly small that you can barely move inside. I am not exaggerating, you cannot turn around or bend down without bumping into the walls. For a hotel that charges these prices, this is completely unacceptable. please do not be fooled by the fake ratings or the beautiful photos. This hotel does not deserve your business. There are plenty of other hotels in Milan that will treat you with basic respect and honesty. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.

The Lancaster Hotel is a MUST stay in Milan. The staff is amazing. They are so helpful. Someone is always at the front desk to help you, even at 3 am! They even suggested great places to eat. They even made a reservation for us! I highly recommended this hotel. You will NOT be disappointed!
