No hot water, most pathetic breakfast and supper ever, threadbare blankets, stairwell was freezing cold --- need I go on??? The ONLY positive that I could see was that it was just a few blocks to the Mediterranean ocean and you could walk to the ocean and there was beach access.

There are times where I wish there were negative stars. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE EVEN FOR A NIGHT. These people are insane. I get here and I have to stay because no other place has availability and it's dark and I am a 19 year old female. They tell me it is 60 euros a night and I say okay whatever thats fine. I would rather sleep somewhere then on the street. AFTER charging my card (with an addition 4 euros for using a card) the man tells me I need to pay 8 euros more. I have no idea what to do because my heart and mind tell me he can't do this. I kind of brush off the comment and tell him I do not have the money (I really didn't because I had just arrived). All day today I was anxious about coming back here. I went on a day trip and took all of my stuff (camera equipment etc) because I was so afraid they would steal something. I get back from my long day in Como (which btw was wonderful) and I'm getting into the shower when the phone rings but I am already in the shower. Then knocking on the door for the entire time I am showering. After putting clothes on, he is knocking again. I answer and he is demanding money. I'm like "You already charged my card. You never told me about this other 8 euros until after you already booked my hotel room and I already paid". Both him and his wife don't speak ANY English and they are SCREAMING at me in Italian. I'm shaking and freaking out like I do not have that and I do not agree to paying that after I already agreed to pay one amount and now you're adding to it. I finally just shut my door because she's just freaking out and I do not know what to do. I am not honestly worried about the 8 euros but I could have paid the same amount (with all the extra charges they charged me) for a 4 star hotel down the street. This is not even a one star. On top of it, my room is right by the front so it's always loud due to his screaming wife and of course other guests. The room is as small as the tip of a pen. Shower door is shattered and there is no safe. So an update because while I was writing this their son or someone who actually spoke English came to my door and said either I pay them or I call the cops. So, I called the cops. Cops said that they have had to come multiple times to this hotel because they scream at customers all the time. Especially about money. The cops were so amazing and one who spoke English stayed with me in my room while 6 other cops talked to the insane managers. He was super kind as I was sobbing and shaking uncontrollably. He said to keep my door locked and don't answer if anyone knocks just to call the cops again. It is NOT a good sign when the cop says they have come here MANY times due to the owners yelling, etc. I don't think I need to add anymore details. I think you get the picture. I also posted this on google reviews and yelp. This business needs to be shut down.

It took over 45 minutes for them to check me in. The room was dirty. The pillow, like a board. More water came from the junction of the shower head to the hose than from the shower head itself, making taking a shower a very unpleasant experience. The prostitutes on the corner could be somewhat aggressive, and the street is very, very noisy! Even with earplugs, it was hard to fall asleep. The staff was very unhelpful; they had no idea where any tourist attractions were. Even with a convenient location near the train station, this place is a pit! Avoid it at all costs!
