Montenapoleone Suites

This hotel provided us with an excellent experience thanks to the incredible customer service as well as a prime location to match. We enjoyed every moment and were able to walk to the Duomo and any restaurants we wanted to eat at for lunch and dinner. It was also close to fantastic shopping locations which was convenient and fun. The mini-bar and coffee machine in the room was also complimentary and provided everything we needed in our room when not exploring the city.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Luisa who was very helpful. We arrived quite a few hours early prior to check in, and our room was not ready. However, Luisa kindly got room service to prepare our room so we can rest after an exhausting flight from Melbourne. The hotel itself is very clean and quite central to the shopping capital as well as The Duomo, sforzesco castle, and other attractions aswell as restaurants. On our last day, the taxi situation was horrendous. Even though we pre booked our cab to the station the night before, there were no taxi’s available on the morning we were leaving. Beptmi, the beautiful lady at front desk came to the rescue and arranged for Domenico from Milano Transfer to come and pick us up and drive us to the Milano Centrale. Domenico was an angel from God, and in his own words he calls himself a God Warrior. He was truly fantastic, friendly and a genuine nice guy. Overall our stay at this hotel was excellent and would definitely stay again.

I had stayed in the same hotel in 2017 and I chose to stay here again in 2025 with my wife. The hotel is very closely located to Montenapoleone street (the main fashion shopping street and area) and a 10 minute walk to Duomo. The hotel has a cosy reception and I believe all the rooms are great in size. We stayed in "Tommy Suite", the room was very big a sitting area as well as a separate bedroom. (There was no door to separate bedroom and living room). The sofa in the living room was huge and can accommodate 2 more guests if it turns to a bed. The sleep on the main bed was comfortable. The hotel has a Carrefour express just across the street which makes it convent even for little longer stays. One thing I must also praise is the "Hair straighter" was provided in our room along with "Hair Dryer". I have seen all hotels providing just the dryer, for the first time I saw that even a straightener was provided. What I found a little miss were as below: 1. I found lot of stains on the walls, and requires re-painting. 2. The Aircon was not giving cold air, I asked the reception to help on this, they said that it's centrally controlled and cannot be changed. I bet that is not what is in a hotel, the room if equipped with an Aircon should give guest facility to change temp as per own comfort. 3. I also found that some repairs were needed in the bathroom. The hot water took about 5 minutes to come once fully turned towards hot on the shower area. However, I would still want to come back to the hotel as I liked the openers and nearness to the area.
