Petronilla - Hotel in Bergamo

The location is perfect — right in the heart of Bergamo, making it so easy to explore the city. But what truly made our stay special was the service. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and helpful from the very first moment. They helped us with our luggage, explained everything about parking before our arrival, and even moved our car themselves when it needed to be parked differently. What an amazing level of service! Our room was beautiful, cozy and very comfortable, with wonderful views. We enjoyed every moment of our short stay — it was just 24 hours, but they were 24 hours of pure delight. The staff also took the time to show us on a map where we should go and what was worth seeing in Bergamo. These little personal touches made such a difference. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious, served in a lovely, cozy courtyard — a perfect way to start the day. We remembered this warm and genuinely welcoming atmosphere throughout the rest of our trip. There was not a single thing we could fault. Everything was absolutely perfect and at the highest level. If you are visiting Bergamo, we highly recommend staying at Petronila Hotel. We would love to come back!

Wonderful location on a quiet street just steps away from restaurants and shopping. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and the breakfast is generous featuring cold and made to order hot items, including mini fruit smoothies . The staff was very helpful in acclimating us to the town and in particular, Rebecca was lovely telling us all about where to go what to do and how to get there - love her energy and enthusiasm for Bergamo. We really enjoyed our stay!

A hotel managed with mastery. A classic decor with some subtle touches of modernity, top-notch equipment, and very clean. The service is impeccable and very professional. A perfect breakfast, varied and homemade. The location is perfect in the downtown area... away from the tourist flow but situated in a lively neighborhood (excellent sound insulation). In short, a high-level experience that we will remember for a long time.
