Best Western Hotel Ary is a typical chain hotel - average. It is located about 3 km from the old city, which makes it reasonably convenient if you have a car, though not ideal for those who prefer to stay within walking distance of the historic center. We stayed for one night and were hoping to have an early breakfast before departure. Unfortunately, breakfast only starts at 7:15 AM, while we had to leave at 5:30 AM, so we missed it entirely. Parking can also be challenging. Although there are two parking areas, both can become quite crowded. Be prepared to spend a few extra minutes finding a spot or maneuvering your car when it is tightly surrounded by other vehicles. I specifically requested a quiet room, but was assigned a room next to the elevator, which was disappointing. The room itself showed several maintenance issues: the toilet seat was broken, and my young daughter actually pinched herself on it. This should be a simple repair and is something that should not be overlooked. The bathroom had additional problems. The hot and cold water indicators on the shower faucet were reversed, which can be unpleasant and potentially dangerous, especially when bathing small children. There were also two holes in the bathroom wall, giving the impression that installation or renovation work had not been properly completed. The shower gel provided had an unpleasant smell, to the point that my daughter preferred to use our own toiletries. The air conditioning unit was also noticeably noisy throughout the night. On the positive side, the receptionist was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The hotel also offers complimentary refreshments during the day, including lemon and mint-infused water, coffee from a self-service machine, and what appeared to be leftover pastries and croissants from breakfast. These small touches were appreciated, although the refreshments were not available when we left early in the morning. Overall, the hotel is adequate for a short stay, but several maintenance and service details need attention to meet the standards one would expect from a Best Western property.

Very clean and tidy with welcoming staff. Breakfast was a great selection and we ate something different most days. Despite being situated in an urban area it was well connected to The Old Town via a shuttle bus service only 3 mins walk away. Local restaurants were only minutes away with a choice of local food through to sushi, and better priced than Old Town. Our room had a balcony overlooking the surrounding area which we regularly used. It was a relaxed atmosphere which is just what we both needed. Noise wasn't a problem being situated in a lovely neighbourhood with a CoOp supermarket 4 mins away. All in all 10/10, thank you.
