Albergo Arena

It is located in the center of the city and is really easy to be wherever in just 10 minutes of walk. The receptionists are welcoming and let you feel welcome, rooms are well kept and i had a nice night. I just would love to come back!

We stayed here for four nights in August and the hotel is, as many have said, slightly dated, BUT comfortable, located next to the Sferisterio Arena, with a pleasant quiet garden, excellent breakfasts and air conditioning. We hope to return to Macerata next year and stay again at the Albergo Arena.

Most people who visit to Macerata in August, come for teh famed opera festival in the unique setting of Sferisterio. Arena is literally three minutes walk from the opera stage, and within easy walking distance form all historic buildings in old town. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is uniformly kind, helpful and efficient, and the breakfast (and espresso coffee) great. Warmly recommended
