San Firmano

Great location, especially for us who had to attend a wedding in the adjacent basilica. Very kind and helpful lady, all clean and tidy. Great for overnight stays.

I book a room for the night of December 7th, there were a lot of people around. The confirmation clearly stated not to phone the property to make sure, as it was not necessary. I have never contacted the facilities to be sure having a booking number in hand, but on December 7th I don't know why I did! and I was right, because the room was no longer there. It was 8.00 pm, imagine the stress of feeling in the middle of the street with a small child. Luckily I found it elsewhere, albeit at double the price!! Subsequently contacting the structure (which was always available on any day) I discovered that from 5/12/2023 it would no longer be available until February... having entered into a long-term contract with travellers. Now I understand that one night is worth less than three months insured, but being a Gentleman is still a value, and if it wasn't then the law should take care of it. P.S. However, I confirm that I have not been charged for the room cost.
