Hotel Excelsior

I recently spent a wonderful stay at the Hotel Excelsior in Pesaro, and what I will remember most is the exceptional warmth and kindness of the entire team. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcome. Every single member of staff, from reception to the restaurant, housekeeping and all the other departments, was incredibly friendly, attentive, professional and always ready to help with a smile. What makes this hotel so special is not simply the service itself, but the genuine warmth and personal attention behind it. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and everyone contributed to creating such a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. In a world where true hospitality is becoming increasingly rare, it is a real pleasure to experience a team that understands how to make guests feel appreciated and at home. Good beachfront hotel with an excellent beach club just a few meters away. Very nice sea-view room, even if not quite up to the category standard. Not everything is perfect. The blackout curtain, for example, had a small hole and let light through. Fairly "basic" furnishings (superior room) but very comfortable. The towels and bath products are good. Breakfast is good but not in line with 5-star standards in terms of variety and presentation. Items that run out are slow to be replaced. The spa is nice, although it deserves more attention. The floors need to be dried frequently, otherwise they become dangerous. The massage therapist is skilled. Common areas are spacious and well-maintained. Staff are willing but not excellent in terms of professionalism. Perhaps the low season affects the services. The price is not excessive, so the value for money is excellent regardless. A good 4-star superior... they could do better for 5 stars. An excellent solution, however, for a stay in Pesaro.

We had a relaxing time by the sea. Great views from a seafront junior suite and an easy going atmosphere in the hotel. Good breakfast, helpful staff and well located for the town. Would definitely stay there again.
