We were here for one night for the music festival. The hotel was ideally located for us. Only a short walk from the train station and close to where the festival was being held. The rooms may look a little old fashioned but they are a good sized rooms, plenty of storage space and the bed was very comfortable. No noise from outside. Mini fridge available.

Great location, great breakfast. Cleanliness and kindness

Located a 5-minute walk straight from the train station, very easy to find with the large front sign. The old town and all its attractions are nearby as well. The neighborhood is quiet, and the hotel is quiet as well. Welcoming reception, Italian or English-speaking, and sometimes French-speaking. In the small lobby, a cozy space with still or sparkling water, apple juice, and cream-filled donuts. A garden lounge is set up outside to enjoy. Professional, respectful, efficient, and polite staff. Wifi included that works very well. My room was quite spacious, with a fairly wide bed and pillows that were somewhat firm. Blanket and comforter available. A pleasant little private terrace, sheltered from rain and sun, with a table and a chair to enjoy the view of the city. Manual blinds and blackout curtains to avoid being awakened at dawn. Very clean carpet and well-maintained antique wooden furniture. No bathrobe available, even when asking at the reception, which is rare in a 4-star hotel. Slippers in the room. Bottles of water provided upon arrival, paid mini bar, no paper tissues, toiletries not replenished on subsequent days, soap dispensers in the bathroom. Kettle with teas and instant coffee. Buffet breakfast served in the restaurant room on the first floor, with large bay windows and an interesting view of the street. A scene from the famous "Palio" is painted on a wall. A walk (well marked) to access the buffet, which may be an obstacle for a disabled person. Beautiful variety of hot or cold drinks, including a sparkling wine that I found pleasant. Homemade cakes, pancakes and maple syrup, cheeses and cold cuts, specialty breads, Piedmontese cookies, empty or filled croissants, yogurts, cereals, seeds, monastic jams... It is very varied, for all tastes, which allows one to start the day in great shape! I had a good stay at this hotel, even if it sometimes lacks generosity for a four-star establishment.
