I stayed in this hotel last week as part of a large group. The location is good being close to the main shopping street and the ski lift. However, that's where the positives end. The food was shocking. Evening meals are best described as beige. Other than potatoes, vegetables don't feature with mains. Any polenta was bland. Breakfast was also poor, with bacon and scrambled egg as the only hot option, and it was identical six days on the trot. I run a BBQ cookery school. I'm not a trained chef, but I would have been devastated if I had served such poor-quality food. Many of our group chose to eat out every night as the food was that bad. I refuse to pay twice, so I ate in every day. The upside is that I lost 3kg while away. Plumbing is also an issue. The drain in our bathroom would be sucked dry of any water in the trap, leaving the drain smells to fill our room. Lastly, bar one very pleasant male server, the staff in the dining room and bar were very miserable. I would be serving that food. This hotel is lacking leadership and standards. We travelled with Inghams.

The location and facilities are fine. Rooms are ok and there is a tiny gym and sauna area - with an empty jacuzzi. It’s close to the slopes and town centre is on the doorstep. The hotel is badly let down by the appalling food and service in the restaurant. The food was mostly inedible and the breakfast, salad bar and dessert bar had the identical offering with no variation for the whole week. Waiting staff were miserable and surly Fortunately this issue was contained to the restaurant area as the staff in the rest of the hotel including the manager and reception staff were excellent. I would visit the hotel again but only on a bed and breakfast basis.

Hotel well located to explore the area or just to stop in a quiet place. Pleasant rooms, very friendly Mood with owners and staff with great care. Rich and generous local cuisine (special mention to the products of the butcher-delicatessen Rigaud ). We'll be back!
