Overall my stay was comfortable and basic, however I feel I should make a consideration: the hotel service is absolutely not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. Perhaps not even a 3-star. I'll start with the cleanliness of the room: the balcony was not clean... there were bird "marks" that stayed there for the whole vacation, the sink drain was black with grease, a curtain was stained, and there were fingerprints on the mirrored wardrobe. I'm not picky, but to say that everything was perfect, definitely not! As for the food, I ate decently, but it has never happened to me in a 4-star hotel that the breakfast and dinner buffets were so disappointing and often not replenished. I thought a policy of reducing waste was in effect, as is right, but then they should also reduce the cost of the stay, which I find justified only by the location and the central position. I also point out that although the hotel is declared soundproof, the noises from the bathroom of the guests in the room above mine could be heard. Massages that are not worth the price paid. I won't go into technical details, but I have been getting massages for a lifetime and I can say that I did not find competence here (even just for the fact that in a body massage my arms were not massaged... weird... only back and legs... abdomen omitted at my request). It has truly never happened to me. For the rest, the spa is small but well-kept.

We had to make a deposit, which never arrived at the hotel, and in the subsequent attempts to contact them by email and phone, there was NEVER a response - the booking did not appear on Booking and therefore we could not cancel. The hotel contacted us on the actual day of arrival and did not address our points and charged us the full costs - to this day, any response by email is missing. Customer unfriendliness par excellence! We would definitely not recommend it, as we experienced the staff as extremely unprofessional.
