Stayed in hotel Genova a few weeks ago and found the accommodation very good and the staff excellent! The hotel is ideally located, opposite the central railway station. We found on leaving the hotel, that the undercover archways and pedestrian area just outside the hotel proved a blessing from the heat of the day. We had a late flight back on the Friday evening so thought we'd request a late checkout. Gabrielle, on reception, was extremely accommodating and allowed us to have the room until 1pm on our last day at no extra cost. Turin is a city where life appears to run at a slower pace and the people have time to chat, are helpful and friendly. From my perspective, I didn't find it as 'touristy' as some of the cities in Italy and also found it reasonable to dine out - food was exceptional! We didn't eat in the hotel as there were a plethora of eateries around the area, so we were spoilt for choice. Lots to do and see in Turin - if you love architecture, this is the place for you. If I do decide to return to Turin, I would definitely book in to Hotel Genova.

Comfortable and cozy room. Kind and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Very close to the station. Our favorite hotel in Turin.

Hotel needs improvement; the rooms are small, and the balcony we had was located next to the bathroom, making it very impractical. Additionally, the sound insulation of the rooms is nonexistent; you can hear everything happening next door! In the evening, it is concerning as we witnessed many fights among intoxicated people around the train station! During the day, there is a lot of begging all around the hotel, which makes one feel unsafe! The value for money needs significant improvement; however, the staff is quite nice, I must say!
