Hotel Antico Distretto

NIGHTMARE HOTEL. The room was very different from the one shown in the photos and had various signs of wear and poor maintenance (damaged walls, broken bathroom fixtures, and chipped sanitary ware). I did not report the issue during my stay or at check-out because it was only for one night, and I preferred not to cause inconvenience to the staff or other guests present. I then contacted the establishment afterward in a polite and discreet manner. The response I received was disappointing: instead of focusing on the reported issues, I was led to believe that I was seeking a refund after seeing lower rates for other days. I want to clarify that my complaint was solely about the condition of the room. I understand that prices may vary, but the published photographs should accurately represent all the rooms and not just the newest or best-maintained ones.

Simple but perfect hotel, clean, quiet, excellent breakfast, and a lot of kindness from both the owners and all the staff.
