A moderate good hotel in a central location, a stone throw away from Porta Nuova Station. Room Cleanliness is good, however it needed some retouching here and there, air-conditioning vents were filthy and the bathroom shower (especially those who don't want to wet their hair) cannot choose from where the water comes out, as you don't have a handheld shower. Breakfast was too basic and poor, many times you have to ask them to top up the basics, like scrambled eggs (no fried eggs - sunny side up), hams (only 2 types, maybe if you're lucky)

We were warmly greeted and checked in by Ilaria. She was professional, competent and very welcoming. The hotel is a half block from the train station, in a cental location surrounded by lovely architecture, dining, quick bites, and shopping. The public spaces are beautifully appointed and decorated. Our suite was tastefully decorated with antiques, while providing plenty of storage, a comfortable bed, large soaking tub with shower. All the elec outlets worked, the a/c.was superb, there was plenty of hot water. Everything was very clean. Coffee/tea was provided and we had a view of the park and a balcony. Breakfast is included in the room rate and it included a large array of pastry , bread, cheese, meats, fruit, even sausage and eggs. I don't often allot a hotel 5 stars, but this one is remeniscent of bygone era when standards were high.
