Parco Sassi Hotel

Beautiful property, large rooms, excellent gym, good breakfast, quiet place even if immersed in the city. For what it costs, however, a little bit of kindness, attention to the customer, and availability of the staff would not be bad

Booking made with Booking for a Deluxe room with breakfast (price for two nights about 430 €) We arrive at reception at 21:45 and present our reservation. After arriving in the room we realize that it is not a Deluxe room as reserved and paid for, but a normal comfort room (room number 70 at the PT), which as beautiful and comfortable as it was was was not the one we had reserved. I go to reception and explain that there must have been a mistake and I was requesting a Deluxe room. It is explained to me that we had arrived late (21:45), and that at the moment only one other room was available on the 1st floor, but identical to ours. I pointed out to the concierge that on the reservation it was stated that our arrival would be between 21 and 22, regardless of our arrival time, if I reserve and pay for a room type, I expect to find it when I arrive at the property. The concierge apologized deeply and found us a solution for the next evening (room number 51, gorgeous), but unfortunately for that evening he had no other availability. I do not blame the concierge who was very kind and very helpful in every way, as well as the bar attendant who to apologize would also offer us something to drink, but to those who take care of reservations on the various portals. I find that the organization needs to be improved, it is not acceptable to pay for a room, moreover with a higher amount, and then not find it available. Having then booked on Booking the property does not even have the opportunity to refund the difference in price between the two rooms. I'm sorry because this inconvenience overshadowed a weekend special for us, and honestly from a facility like this I would have expected more attention. Too bad because they have a beautiful park and is in a great location, but I would have difficulty thinking about going back there. For the rest I found a good service, I would advise the breakfast waitresses to smile a little more and be a little more attentive to the diners (service)

The location presents in my opinion contradictions, which will make me, perhaps, desist from returning. Positive aspects: the outdoor park, the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness. The negatives: first of all, those who decide to go there without a car, desist! Too far from the center to be reached by public transport. Taxi cost, on average 19,50€. The room bathroom too small and without light points. Finally, the lights in the rooms too, but too dim. In the master bedroom the mattresses were separate. You cannot pay more than 200€ per night, because objectively it is an overestimated price.
