La Playa Hotel

City hotel in Alghero just a few steps away from the beach promenade. Rooms are newly renovated. A bit louder towards the street. Breakfast was very delicious. Good restaurants in the immediate vicinity reachable on foot.

Just back yesterday from a week at Giardino La playa. Great location-peaceful yet close to the Lido beach and a 10-15 minute walk from Maria Pia beach and about 30 minutes from the old town. Taxi is 10 euros if you don’t fancy the walk into town. We found the hotel excellent with comfortable rooms, great showr and very welcome aircon! Our room was cleaned and serviced every day and the whole hotel was spotlessly maintained. The whole team were lovely and happy to help in any way. A good choice of breakfast items can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. The pool itself is beautiful with plenty of sun beds and comfy chairs. There is a lifeguard present all day who will fetch drinks/snacks for you from the bar. All in all good value for money and would definitely recommend.

Super place, with good location if it is ok with about 1.5km to "the old town". Newly renovated rooms in good quality - super A/C, good beds and nice size of the room. The staff is SUPER good. This applies to both reception, waiters and cleaning. Parking: This is a battle with all the others to find a suitable p-place. The first few days we kept about 650m from the hotel. Here, however, it was easy to find p-place. Serving from the bar all day - and a small selection of GOODE cocktails is made.
