Punta Negra

It is definitely not a hotel that deserves 4 stars but 3 at most. The hotel is a very old structure that immediately needs a renovation. If not on the outside at least on the inside as it is literally falling apart on you. I spent one night there in July and I paid eur 430 for a double including breakfast. I was coming from a 5-star resort in Chia where I paid 700, but with all the comforts and quality of a 5-star. I mean that the price is already excessively high. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the bed was rock hard without any type of comfort. A board! And don't let anyone tell me that it's a matter of taste and that it might be fine for some. For this price category, you need a quality bed. Enough! After the first shower, I noticed that the towel had a 10cm hole in it. I pointed it out. See photo.. what a shame! Resigned to the comfort that it was only for one night, luckily I got into bed and as I closed the curtains, the whole curtain fell on me. I just remembered that I didn't see an elevator in the hotel! So you have to walk. In the morning, being with my daughter who was sleeping and not being able to leave the room, I asked if they could kindly bring me a coffee in the room. They told me there was a 10 euro surcharge to pay. In short, they have adapted to the prices of large hotels that deserve to be considered superior or luxury, but what is offered by this property reflects a hotel built in the 60s or 70s that is being exploited to the maximum without investing a cent, at the expense of the guests. I don't know how people on popular platforms gave it a “very good” rating. I, even trying my best, cannot recommend this hotel at the rates requested. A disappointment..

Nice view.small scale hotel with friendly staff. Food is good. Breakfast is normal. Rooms are small mn seaview smaller as they show on booking. Pool is nice, saltwater but opens late and closes early again, half past seven. The bay is a nice view but the beach is not much and it stinks of sewage. If you want a bed from the hotel in the front row, they'll charge you big extra. The beach towels also cost money.

Super beautiful hotel. Everything one needs is there and it is very central. Breakfast has everything the heart desires. Rooms are a bit older but very clean. Pool area is excellent, as is the service.
