Hotel was well situated, close to the beach and with the advantage of a well stocked supermarket opposite. It's about 1.5km into Alghero but the walk is pleasant and it goes quickly. Rooms are comfortable but beds are a bit hard. There is a fridge which is useful. TV only seemed to have Italian channels. Bathrooms were small but functional. The restaurant was ok. Breakfast was always the same. Hot food - bacon, eggs and sausages. Cold cuts, pastries and cereal. Evening meal was a selection of appertizers from the buffet and choice of 1st and 2nd course (picked at breakfast time). Then a couple of dessert options. Drinks were a bit pricey - hence useful to have the supermarket next door. Pool area was ok, with a nice little pool. It can get busy but during early September it was quite quiet most days. The best bit about the hotel is the staff, from cleaners to restaurant / bar staff and reception all were very friendly and helpful.

I do not recommend this hotel. The manager’s attitude towards guests is simply unacceptable. There was a complete lack of respect for my privacy and boundaries, and the way I was treated seriously disrupted what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. The rooms are very small, and the hotel is clearly in need of a thorough renovation. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Great location for beach and 20 mins to old town. Clean and comfortable with a lovely pool. Traditional style and great value.
