The rooms, pool and kindness of the hotel staff excellent

Aside from the enviable location by the sea and the breakfast that barely meets the standard, I do not have much else good to say. Clean but old, rooms and bathrooms are very outdated, almost to the point of decency, especially the sanitary fixtures, curtains, windows, and furniture. Elevator that does not register the floor number; if someone goes to the bathroom at night, the flush wakes up the entire building. Check-in time is a bit late at 3 PM. Paid parking and non-functioning internet.

Absolutely outrageous!!! I cannot understand some reviews that praise the services or the staff or anything else in this nightmare of a hotel. Dilapidated is putting it mildly. There has been no improvement since the 1970s. Maintenance is non-existent. Broken fixtures, torn curtains, nearly unusable bathrooms, mattresses still with springs, and rusty air conditioning units like tables and chairs on the balconies. The plumbing is so outdated that when you flush the toilet, you hear a backfire (water hammer) as if it were a small explosion, and with all the people present, it is not pleasant, especially in the middle of the night. Stained bedspreads, as well as mattress covers, broken minibars, clogged sinks, and leaking showers. These are just some of the inconveniences of this hotel, which in my opinion should be closed immediately for a complete renovation and not take money from those who come on vacation. Unfortunately, in response to my complaints, they changed our room three times, but in the end, exhausted from packing and unpacking our bags, and not wanting to search for another place on short notice, we reluctantly stayed. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. Before booking, look at the photos... don't let your vacation be ruined! Spend a little more on adjacent hotels, three stars, but real ones!!!! To be avoided.
