in Lunamatrona which is a very tiny town near Barumini (home of Nuraghe structures) - beautiful old building full of antiques and art - run by young couple, she at the B&B and he at the attached pizzeria - she was very fluent in English which we appreciated - hotel name means "House of the Moon"

We stayed at Domu'e Luna B&B while traveling in Sardinia. The rooms were large and very comfortable, with private bath. There is even wifi, though we spent little time online!
There is a large common area as well as a breakfast area, decorated with local furnishings and you can see there is a great deal of attention to details. There is also a lovely porch area to sit outside.
The owners are a young couple who were very helpful in planning our visits and knowledgeable about the area.
They also have a small pizzeria on the premises and we ate there one night. There was a constant line of locals coming in for take away pizzas. It seemed like a popular place! I can rarely finish a round Italian pizza but this one was so light I gobbled it up with no trouble.
The location is just 1 hour from Cagliari and convenient to visit the nuraghe at Barumini as well as the Parco della Giara. It's very quiet (we slept like logs) and makes a great base for exploring the area.
Highly recommended!

We came upon this B&B by chance as we were driving through Sardinia. It was recommended by a local when we asked for a nearby place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, the room we stayed in had character and well-priced, and the staff spoke English and was very friendly. There was free wi-fi and a great breakfast. There was no pressure to check out early. We had planned to eat dinner in Siddi, but the owners also run a pizzeria, and if we did not have dinner plans made beforehand, we would have eaten here. Well done!
