Fattoria S'Imbiligu

We went to s’imbiligu from Bosa after reading some fantastic reviews and it did not disappoint. The drive up a windy country lane lead us to a beautiful spot. There is a lovely little vineyard and various animals as you enter which made for some lovely pictures. We were greeted and shown to our table On the terrace with beautiful views of the area. Starters were amazing with an olive tapenade with some small fried bread, courgette fried dumplings, pecorino cream, sweetened pickled onions and some ham and local cheese. It was all perfection. (We had to stop ourselves eating it all so we would manage the other courses!) We then had ravioli (homemade and cooked to perfection) Then pork with vegetables. The courses were timed well giving us time to chat and enjoy the surroundings. Dessert was phenomenal with toasted brioche, goats cheese ricotta and honey. They speak good English and are super friendly but not intrusive. The bill came to €60 for two including the very good wine so amazing value too, the whole evening was amazing and we will definitely return.

We stayed for a night at Trattoria s’imbiligu and had the place to ourselves. We had an amazing 7 course meal and found the food and hosting very authentic Sardinian. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! They also had the cutest French bulldog and a couple of friendly cats which made it feel like an authentic farm!

Fresh pasta lovers don't look any further ... Daniela is cooking like the famous "nonna" (grandmother) using products from her own garden, freshly ground olive tapenade and veggie salsa matching fried bread balls followed by various courses of fried vegetables and pasta, lamb or pork after that plus fabulous little dessert ..... we counted 9 courses, all beverages included (try the homemade limoncello - with slight vanilla taste !), 30 euros all in all. Only 3 tables so make a reservation !
