La Jacia Hotel & Resort

Excellent hotel! excellent cleanliness, excellent location, excellent welcome, excellent staff, excellent cuisine, excellent parking, excellent mattress! and pillow, very comfortable and new bathrooms, spacious room, excellent pool, excellent hotel! I have been going there for 4 years!

This was a great hotel and I am glad I chose to stay there while in Sardinia. Location & Grounds: Easy to get to and about 3 minutes away from the Baja Sardinia shopping area with restaurants and shopping. It is nice but not snobby like Porto Cervo. The hotel is right next to Aquadream and there is some daytime noise but they close around 6pmish. The hotel area seems safe and quiet once Aquadream closes. If you are lucky you can find car parking under the solar panel covered parking area. The grounds are well taken care of. The restaurant is nice and makes good food. The menu is small especially for dinner but good. The food comes quickly by European standards. We got an Americano coffee/Caffe latte and omelet every morning. The service is good and the people friendly. The front desk staff is very friendly and when my wife feel on the boat and bruised her leg, they offered her a bag of ice. That was great service by their staff as she did that on her own without us asking. The only real problem I had there was that the internet didn't work at all. I had to use my Verizon hotspot to get internet. Also, if you don't want to spend too much money on breakfast there is an ENI gas station that makes excellent coffee. The only issue with them is none of my credit cards worked to buy gas. I had to go to Esso in San Pantaleo to get gas. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Porto Cervo and about 45 minutes from Olbia. I thought the location was great. Nur and La Rocca are great restaurants that are very close by. Room: We got room 14 on the ground floor. It was fairly spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I find European beds to be very hard and this bed was not hard at all. The pillows were fluffy and the furnishings were nice. I thought there was plenty of room to move around. The bathroom is nice and had both a shower nozzle and rainhead shower. Lots of hot water but it cut out for like 30 seconds every shower. Not a big deal but a bit annoying. All the other items in the bathroom worked well. Had a bowl sink but it was very large and drained well (many bowl sinks drain poorly). They have a large TV that you can use Netflix through as the cable TV offerings are all Italian except for BBC and CNN. The AC worked very well and we turned it off when we left for the day and within 20 minutes of returning to the room, it was cool every evening when we returned. Overall it was a great place to stay and it was very nice and not too expensive. I would recommend it.

Property surrounded by greenery, well-maintained and equipped with a small, welcoming pool. Courteous staff, excellent room cleanliness, excellent breakfast. The resort is located about 1km from the center of Baja Sardinia, consider the need for a vehicle to get around, especially at night, as a stretch of road is poorly lit for walking. Presence of a water park in the immediate vicinity from which music comes all day long. The property's restaurant is open all day, closing at 9:00 PM, a time, at least for us, too restrictive to be used in the evening.
