Hotel Isola Rossa

Everything was nice and pleasant, until the moment of check-out. We misplaced our room keys for a moment before returning them. It can happen!! What we did not like was the attitude shown at that moment by the staff: always courteous during the vacation (the third time in two years), they showed no understanding and made us feel significantly uncomfortable. The keys then turned up immediately after. A bit of a bitter taste remains for an ending that could have been handled with more calmness, professionalism, and courtesy.

What can I say? We had booked 9 nights and they were the most beautiful 10 days of vacation we have spent to date! The Hotel Isola Rossa is very nice, with spacious rooms that are cleaned every day. The bathroom and shower enclosure are standard. The only small note concerns the beds: being used to modern memory foam mattresses, we had a bit of back pain upon waking... but, despite everything, we slept well! 😁 The breakfast is truly super abundant, with a very wide selection of products for all tastes. A special thanks goes to the very kind Stefania, in charge of breakfast, who pampered our child as if he were her own grandson: an attention that truly won us over. All the rest of the staff, including the gardener/handyman, also always proved to be available, friendly, and smiling. The pool is quite large, always clean, and very quiet, ideal for relaxing. Finally, a note on Bosa: a simply wonderful town, quiet and perfect for families too. We really hope to return next year. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff for making our vacation so special!

The staff was not friendly, didn’t even greet guests. Very limited and expensive options for food and beverages by the pool (and it’s prohibited to take outside food out there). Rooms were OK, we did find 2 bugs in the bed the first night but didn’t get bit at all. AC worked, but over all the cleanliness of the hotel was poor.
