San Trano

Disgraceful. Outdated room and bathroom. Pool not heated. Breakfast at €15 with only industrial products, nothing local. Pool lounge chairs with holes. Curtains don't block the morning sun, so 6 a.m. is wake-up time. Very noisy tiled hallway that lets you track rolling suitcases in the evening and morning, and in case you manage to sleep, room cleaning starts at 8 a.m. Booked for 6 nights, we asked to leave the hotel the very next day; we were told that it was non-refundable.

My partner and I booked a room with a double bed, and after driving for over 2 hours, dead tired, we arrived at the hotel, went up to our room, and found a sad surprise... a room with 2 twin beds... I immediately went to point this out at the front desk and was told that it was the only one available... And this, obviously, after having already paid in advance... Besides that, there was no fridge in the room and not even a bottle of water... They should just be thankful I didn't call the financial police on them... the staff was rude, ill-mannered, and had truly embarrassing attitudes... I strongly advise no one to stay here...

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week and would not recommend it for several reasons. The hotel is quite far from everything, nice setting in a small village in the mountains, but unheated swimming pool (16 or 17 degrees), no wifi, no shutters so woken by the sun at 6.30am, isolation non-existent we hear everything, no restaurant in the hotel except for breakfast (8am-10am), and the bedding is really unpleasant! Attention the hotel is CLOSED from 12:00 to 15:30!! We waited 1 hour outside when we arrived.. Otherwise there is nothing within 30min drive, 2 restaurants in the village and no interesting visit in it. Only positive point: Thank you to the lady at the reception for her kindness and the 2 waitresses of the breakfast, which is very good.
