Hotel Daniel

My wife and I wanted a quiet holiday, a comfortable environment, sunshine, good food, and a hotel swimming pool. We found all that and more in Hotel Daniel. The hotel is ideally situated off the main road, a short distance from Olbia Airport. (Use the 514 bus to get to Murta Maria.) It is perfectly aligned so that the balcony is in sunlight in the morning and then the pool area catches the sun in the afternoon. The main thing to note is that the hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms, corridors, balconies and pool area are cleaned daily. The reception area is bright and cheerful, and once checked-in there is a side gate which can be used for easy access. The room was bright, clean, comfortable and quiet (not sure what the noise levels might be like when the hotel is fully occupied). Breakfast is a joy, with a great selection of continental meats, cheese, breads, pastries, fruits, yogurts, juices, coffees & teas. Note that there is no evening restaurant service but there are many restaurants within walking distance. We will forever enjoy our fond memories of Hotel Daniel, of Daniel himself and his friendly staff but especially the housekeepers who cleaned our room exceptionally well. Thank you all!

It has a good location close to the oblia and the well-known beaches! The parking park is the breakfast and the bedroom area! Against the bathrooms are not remodeled! Often the water was not hot which is not at all comfortable! There's a gentleman who I believe is in charge who's always watching what's going on in the area which makes something embarrassing for us to feel observed

Very cozy and quiet hotel just 10min from Olbia. We were two adults and two children from Sweden who booked a family room seven nights and the room felt fresh and big enough for us even though everyone slept in the same room. We had the pool right outside the door which was appreciated by the kids. The staff was very friendly and down to earth and it feels very familiar which suited us well. The breakfast was not so great but everything was as you wished so we were super happy. The only minus was that WIFI was very slow but if you are on vacation you should still not sit with your mobile all the time. Murta Maria itself is a cozy little village and everyone is friendly. We felt that it was almost only Italian tourists or locals in Murta Maria which made it all more authentic. Most spoke ok English but was more fun to learn Italian phrases. All the restaurants we visited had a high level of food and like half the price of the restaurants in Olbia on the food. We visited Olbia twice and is a cozy town with liters more pulse. Unfortunately we had no rental car this time but the local bus worked quite ok. We took it several times back and forth to Porto Istana Beach which was very nice beach and clear water. The bus was almost never on time but always came. If you download the bus app, it is easy to buy tickets before boarding. Otherwise, you can buy on the bus from the driver. We skipped renting sun loungers on the beach and instead bought a parasol for 15 euros that we used on the beach every day. Can warmly recommend both Hotel Daniel and Murta Maria. We would love to come back.
