Stayed in a three room comfort for five people. Top notch on room standard and hotel location. We haven't taken a cab once. Close to Maria Pia and town. Great beach walk into town. A pretty big Supermarket, Restaurants and ice cream just outside.

We were very disappointed with the end of our stay at the Picalè hotel, mainly due to the management of a problem that was, in fact, simple. Around 9:30 PM, we reported to the reception that the air conditioning in our room was stuck at a very low temperature, with no possibility of adjustment. A person did intervene, but unfortunately was unable to resolve the issue. As the room had become far too cold to sleep in, we asked if it was possible to change rooms. Our request remained without a real response. Time is passing, it is almost midnight, after numerous follow-ups and in the face of the lack of a solution, we ultimately had to move the mattress into the living room in order to spend the night without enduring the icy air from the air conditioning. Is it normal, given the price of the room, to have to improvise a "camping" in one's own accommodation due to a lack of assistance? The next day, we expected at least a gesture of goodwill or a genuine acknowledgment of this inconvenience. We were simply met with a "sorry, we can't do anything more." A technical problem can happen in any hotel. However, the way it is managed makes all the difference. Unfortunately, in our case, the lack of a solution and the absence of a goodwill gesture left a very bad impression.

A lovely recent poolside studio. Everything super clean. Missed a kettle and coffee machine otherwise five stars! Some meagre cutlery and crockery but for two people fine. Location top. Supermarket close by, for beach and restaurant street crossing e you are there. We got a free spot in the . parking garage which we were very happy with.
