We just returned home from a 5 night stay. We had a very nice time but this is NOT a 5 star resort, this is a 4 star resort that charges 5 star rates (I think another reviewer wrote this as well). The property was beautiful with water views but it is not on the beach. The main pool area is a nice place to chill and stare at the view. My biggest issue was their espresso/coffee. I hated it and this is my favorite part of my morning so that was extremely disappointing. We will not be able to stay at any of the Aethos Properties since they use the same Portuguese beans in ALL of the properties. Thought it was odd that they did not use a local, Italian coffee. We were upgraded and the room was very small and the shower head was set too low. Turn down service was always inconsistent, The food was very good, especially the breakfast. And the concierge, Phillipo was great! As were Lorenzo and the bar team. It is a nice hotel if the price reflected 4-Star pricing.
