Hotel Capo d'Orso Thalasso & Spa

This was our first honeymoon spot - while the hotel itself has an element of magic (the location, natural and rugged layout, harpist at breakfast) it it however VERY dated especially given the crazy high prices. Our suite room had a musty/mildewy smell, appliances didn’t work and furniture was quite old. No access to any spa features unless pay extra which I find uncommon at spa hotels. Skip the main restaurant and eat at Il Flotante.

We spent an amazing time in this fantastic hotel. Capo d’orso is an oasi of peace. The staff is very friendly and prepared… we thank everbody: reception, bar, restaurants, housekeeping… Our room was beautiful and perfect cleaned: every morning we woke up with the sea view, it left us speechless. I suggest to everybody to come here if you want to feel pampered. We going to miss this place for sure!!

A unique experience in a park by the sea with coves and quiet spots where you can stay and contemplate the Maddalena Archipelago. The pace is completely relaxing and at the same time it is possible to practice sports like golf, or go boating. The Thalasso SPA regenerates you, just as the refined dishes of the various restaurants and the aperitifs sipped at moonrise do. You are always pampered and the staff's attention is thorough, never intrusive. I thank Ms. Alissia and the entire staff for having assisted me with professionalism regarding a small difficulty of mine. A special thanks to the Director Alessandro Muntoni who, with grace and innate mastery, made me forget the distance from home with the desire to return... to the home of friends.
