Rafael Cafe

I can't do it. We had booked early October for 3 nights. On site we learned that the restaurant is already closed. No information on this before. On the website this was only pointed out after our trip. The wine bar was still open, but food here misrepresentation. We then left angry and asked for the deposit to be transferred back. Nothing came back. Our mail was only responded to after days and a refund was refused.

Rafael used to climb these stairs, too, many years ago. I believe that at every step he enjoyed what he left behind him while waiting for what gradually presented itself before him. We had the privilege of staying with you and entering the premises where that man lived dreaming. With the same determination, in the same places, one of our promises will become our “forever”. The Solaz is a precious jewel. Congratulations!

Our stay at Solaz Porto Rafael was exceptional! The staff were always warm, friendly and helpful. The management and concierge service was excellent and we were welcomed like we were part of the family. From the minute we arrived, we felt like we'd found a gem. Everything we'd dreamed of and anticipated. The hotel is full of character, style and history complimented by artisanal interiors and famous architecture of the locality. It is a luxury oasis just around the corner from one of Sardegna's most popular regions. Within the hotel is also The Solaz Restaurant and Bar, both offering sensational food and beverages, making the whole experience delightful. Many locals patronise both the restaurant and bar, demonstrating the quality of the venues and bringing an authentic flavour to the Piazzetta. I hope to return many times in the future and would strongly recommend Solaz for anyone looking to create a once in a lifetime holiday and memory. I feel a little conflicted giving this review as I'd love to keep this place a secret just for us. But the whole Solaz team deserved to be celebrated and congratulated.
