We spent a week at Hotel Pitrizza in early June and had a phenomenal experience.
The setting is extraordinary. The property is beautifully integrated into the Costa Smeralda landscape, with the villas tucked naturally into the grounds, creating a wonderful sense of privacy, understated elegance and effortless luxury. The newly renovated rooms and villas are beautifully designed — sophisticated, contemporary and extremely well appointed.
What truly distinguishes Pitrizza, though, is the service. From Silvana, Giuseppe, Marte and Paolo at the front office, to Peppino, Carolina, Domingo, Rodrigo, Francesco, Sebastian and Christian, the chefs and the entire team — everyone was warm, gracious and genuinely helpful.
Peppino was a particular standout — the embodiment of old-world Italian hospitality: charm, elegance and sophistication, without ever feeling formal or pretentious.
We did have one hiccup early in our stay, and Maurizio, along with Giuseppe and Silvana, could not have handled it better. They didn’t simply correct the situation — they went above and beyond, with generosity, kindness and genuine concern for our experience. That says a great deal about how the hotel is managed.
The food was excellent throughout — breakfast, lunch and dinner — and the restaurant experience was consistently first-rate. The spa was lovely as well, with another terrific team.
Beautiful location, magnificent grounds and wonderful accommodations, but ultimately it is the people who make Hotel Pitrizza special. We left with tremendous affection for both the property and the team who took care of us.
A memorable week in Sardinia and a hotel we would happily return to.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon at the beginning of September. I wanted to leave this review just to let people know exactly what to expect when staying at Hotel Pitrizza. While the hotel is beautiful, the staff is kind and attentive, and the scenery is stunning, our biggest issue with this place was the constant feeling like we were being fleeced. Obviously, it is a 5-star hotel, so we weren't under any impression that prices would be reasonable, but it made it difficult to actually do anything. For example, if we wanted a beer or something by the sea, it was like 25euro or something. Cocktails and wine were even more. I have been to Vegas, Naples, and we had just spent a week in Switzerland before this and have never experienced this level of price gouging. The food was equally as pricy, so we just didn't really eat. If you wanted to leave the property, but didn't have a car, the hotel can call a taxi. The problem is that the taxis know they are scarce on the island so they can charge you whatever they want. A taxi ride to go 10 minutes away was 50euro on the way there and 55euro on the way back. If they are going to call taxis, I think it's the hotels responsibility to establish a relationship with the drivers who won't fleece there customers. We had to go 15 minutes another day and the driver charged us 130USD. At the end of the day, if you are going to stay at Hotel Pitrizza, I would rent a car and I would grab your own snacks and drinks from a market and splurge on dinner. The only thing there really is to do is to swim and sit on the beach (which was lovely, by the way), otherwise if you want to rent jet skis or their tubes, it's going to cost you an arm and a leg. At the end of the day, I don't think it's worth the price, but if you want to throw money away then it's a great place! One last thing, we did a private boat charter with Mark Marine Charter one day and he was able to pick us up from the Pitrizza dock. It was a really fun day and Marco was amazing! I highly recommend going through him if you want to spend a day on the sea.

Exceptional, sophisticated hotel with impeccable, individualized service in the best location of the Costa Smeralda.
The suite we stayed in, number 1, has a view from the balcony to the Garden with the sea in the background.
The beach is private with calm waters, they always offer water and sorbet to refresh.
Beautiful pool with infinity edge.
The Fitness Center is very complete and serves very well, especially since besides the weight training equipment, it has Pilates equipment. The breakfast is extraordinary with several coffee options, cold cuts like the excellent mortadella, cheeses, fruits, eggs, etc. Spectacular team coordinated by Maître Pepino who is from Naples!!! Dinner also by the pool with local Sardinian wines. The entire restaurant team is very proactive and friendly.
The reception has a very professional and prepared team, compliments to everyone through Frederica. The Concierge is very professional, they hired a 4-hour boat trip that I highly recommend. Compliments to everyone in the person of Joseph!!!
The checkout was also something exceptional, everyone went to the hotel door to say goodbye to my wife and me. The service is from the best hotels I have stayed at. Congratulations to everyone!!!
