Calaserena Village

We were at this resort from August 9 to 23; honestly, the price-quality ratio was not satisfactory, little attention to the customer, I'll start with the rooms: small, damp, approximate cleaning; when we arrived we found an armchair inside that practically obstructed the passage, we put it outside otherwise we would have had to enter one at a time. After 1 week my sheets had not been changed and at the reception they answered me with a convinced tone, "eh, but you should have reported it," I was speechless. We were all-inclusive; at the pool bar there was an ice cream machine where it could be taken for free with a cone or cup, after two days it disappeared, and after various requests I was told by the bar staff, "eh, but we had it as an extra," and more speechlessness. Entertainment absent, the resort seemed like a morgue, Ferragosto celebrated a day early, the dinner on Friday, but on the day of Ferragosto practically nothing was done, just an ordinary day, the icing on the cake: headphones in the ears so as not to play loud music after 11:00 PM. When they assigned us the table they put us in an area without air conditioning, it felt like an oven with a portable AC unit trying uselessly to cool it down, we desperately had ourselves moved. In addition, the manager seems not to know what happens among her staff members, what is missing is precisely the communication between those who manage and those who put it into practice. Strengths: the spectacular sea, good food but little variety.

We spent 12 wonderful days at the Calaserena and, for us, this was actually the sixth time at this property. I think this already says everything about our level of satisfaction and how fond we are of this place! The sea is simply fantastic, one of the great strengths of the resort. The judgment on the food is also absolutely positive: lots of choice, good quality, and variety. One must always consider that we are talking about a facility that manages 800-900 people every day with self-service, so managing to maintain this level of organization and quality is not at all a given. Truly excellent entertainment, with guys who are engaging but never intrusive and, above all, beautiful evening shows of a professional level. You can see the work and preparation that go into it. A special note of merit, however, we want to dedicate to the Serenino. We have a daughter who loves returning to Calaserena also because of them. Knowing that she spends happy days, has fun, socializes, and experiences moments that she then continues to remember even once she returns home, for us parents has an enormous value. This year the Serenino group, led by Eleonora, was truly fantastic. A huge thank you to her and to all the entertainers who dedicate themselves to the children with energy, attention, patience, and so much enthusiasm. ❤️ After six times, Calaserena for us is no longer just the resort where we spend our vacations: it is one of those places where we know we feel good and where our daughter cannot wait to return. And probably the fact that, after six vacations here, we still want to return… is the best review we can give.

With my partner, we returned to the Calaserena two years after the first time for 9 nights... in search of the tranquility we had found on the first occasion. Expectation fully met, the Calaserena is an oasis of tranquility (fortunately I did not find the rudeness from guests that I found, unfortunately, in a couple of Bluserena properties) overlooking a beautiful sea and positioned in a quiet area of Sardinia. I wanted to thank the reception staff who very kindly kept our suitcase in storage and took care of receiving and loading the courier. Compliments also to the entertainment team... of excellent quality, better than two years ago, Ivan is a sure thing (we already knew him from previous Bluserena experiences), beautiful shows and super entertainment... compliments to everyone, none excluded. We decided to reach the property by motorcycle to be able to explore the beautiful Sardinian roads and areas too after years of traveling by plane... we were allowed to park the motorcycle in a secure area of the parking lot. I also recommend the scuba divers' dinghy trip to visit the magnificent surrounding beaches and coves... it is really worth it. I found this vacation very free; we alternated days at the resort with a few motorcycle trips. The only "negative" note was the kitchen, a bit repetitive, always good but just repetitive... we were told that the chef has changed and it really shows... certain dishes were served multiple times during the week. The dining room staff was always very kind, even regarding the requests of my partner who is lactose and gluten intolerant. We have already decided that our destination for the summer of 2027 will be the Calaserena again, to be able to go down crossing the part of the island that we have not yet seen and enjoy 10 more days of relaxation!
