Initially I would have liked to award two stars or perhaps only one for this property, then I asked other guests for information and when I learned that everyone had paid the same amount as me, then I resigned myself and understood that I was not the only one who was scammed, but really all the customers, but what can I say "misery loves company!" it must be the normal price for accommodation of this type where everything seems stuck about 50 years ago, The small house is spacious and clean but the path through the garden is made of broken tiles and overgrown with branches and roots that do not allow you to use it. Even inside there are many broken tiles and the non-functioning refrigerator was replaced with another one placed in front, the air conditioners are old and noisy and barely manage to counteract the heat of those walls that make the room an oven. The folding bathroom door does not close and the shower is so narrow that while you move you turn off the water faucet every time. The double bed is made up of two single beds pushed together but since they are not the same height they make everything very uncomfortable. Room service and housekeeping do not exist, and if you ask for more towels, you have to pay 7 euros per person. Basically, for an expense like that, I expected a completely different type of service, but all in all, it is large and clean and just two steps from the beach.

An unforgettable stay at La Chimera! We had a great time. The location is perfect: just steps from the stunning Campolongu beach and slightly elevated, which ensures a pleasant breeze even on the hottest days. We stayed in a two-room apartment on the ground floor, very clean, well-equipped, and with a truly beautiful sea view. The real added value of the establishment is Camelia and Rodika: their exquisite professionalism and friendliness are exceptional. They made us feel truly pampered with their extreme availability. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the welcome, we will definitely return! We would like to make a small constructive suggestion: renewing the mattresses and beds would elevate the resting experience to match everything else, thus completing the comfort of the establishment.

The structure surrounded by greenery, offers a wonderful view of the beach of campolongu. Relaxed and quiet environment, great for a regenerating holiday. Each apartment has its own small patio overlooking a personal garden portion. Swimming pool available to guests with a view of the cove of campolongu beach. The owners very kind and attentive. Very helpful. Care for guests and the environment. A wonderful stay.
