Residence Le Fontane

Beautiful facility convenient to services, the pool is also beautiful, the room is equipped with all the essentials that one might need.. perhaps the room for 2 plus 1 is a bit too small, if I were to return for us who are 2 adults and 1 child I would opt for the one with 4 spots. The only thing I would improve is that on the terrace it is impossible to stay if the air conditioning is on because the external air conditioning unit emits hot air that makes it impossible to be there, for the rest nothing else.. prices respected as per contract, deposit returned, staff kind and present, cleaning ok. I would return opting for the larger room.

We had booked 2 days / 2 people for €241 on Agoda. Upon arrival, we were asked for an additional €120, which is 49.8% of the initial price! The stay therefore goes from €241 to €361. These €120 correspond to: €40 for cleaning PER DAY → €80 $10 per person per day as a “daily fee” → $40 The problem is not just the amount. It is above all the way these fees are presented. Agoda does mention €60 somewhere in the property information, but you literally have to dissect the different sections to find them. And above all, these €60 do not even correspond to the €120 that we were ultimately charged! We showed the Agoda information at the front desk and the gentleman clearly replied to us: “No no, that is not correct at all.” So even the establishment acknowledges that the information displayed on Agoda does not correspond to reality. Displaying a price of €241 and then adding €120 in fees, which is almost 50% extra, is not a transparent presentation of the price. If the true cost had been clearly displayed from the start, we could have chosen to book — or not — with full knowledge of the facts. Outrageous experience. We do not recommend it, deceptive practice. Be extremely vigilant and ask for the TOTAL price before booking.

We stayed at this property for two weeks between July and. August. I would first like to greet Marco and Leandro because they were wonderful, just like the guys at the bar! Knowledgeable and very kind. Let's not forget the lifeguard, a very sweet guy. The property is very convenient to the center and supermarkets, as well as on the main road to get to the beaches and the port. I am very sorry to read the controversies about the "hidden" costs topic; the costs are clearly indicated in the contracts and if they are not, you can refuse to pay. We booked through an agency and everything was very clear. But I repeat, the law is simple regarding this and you pay for what you bought. Then, regarding the fact that the costs are very high, you are right. For the rest, the apartments are basic, but we didn't find any cleanliness issues. The pool is really nice and convenient. We also liked the barbecue area a lot. We won't be returning to Villasimius immediately, but we will definitely return to this property, but only if the same staff is there! So, Sea Travel, hold on to them tightly ❤️
