Ragusa Hotel Montreal

3 star hotel not A4 environment not up to 'publicized dossier poor cleaning friendly staff only thing

I stayed at the Hotel Montreal for a school trip (room 208) and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. As soon as you enter the lobby and corridors, the hotel also looks nice and manicured, but reality changes completely when you arrive in the rooms. The room I was assigned was totally different from the photos seen on Booking: ruined furniture, obvious dust everywhere and even hair on the toilet, which is really unacceptable. The shower was also dirty, full of limestone, giving a general feeling of poor hygiene. The TV in the room was not working, adding further discomfort to the living room. As for the food, being on a school trip we had predetermined dishes (pasta with sauce, cutlet and chips), but they were really bad, both for quality and taste. Also for the excursion to Ragusa Ibla and scicli we were given a packed lunch with indecent sandwiches and excessively ripe fruit and not at all to liking. In summary, the initial appearance of the hotel may be deceiving, but the rooms are a real disappointment. I would not recommend it, especially considering the relationship between expectations and reality.

I stayed at this hotel in the center of Ragusa from 19 to 21 October, and I must say that classifying it as 3 stars is simplistic. Cozy rooms and cleanliness at the top, even the Food Service is excellent, both in quality of food and for the qualified and helpful staff
